homedjagios for all

Welcome to Djagios’s community site!

Djagios is an open source Nagios web based configuration tool with a complete Python Nagios API.

The main goal of the tool was to make Nagios usable for non-Nagios admins. The initial install and configuration would have to be done by Nagios administrators. But once done ordinary users can add servers, appliances, devices, services themselves.

The second goal is to provide a complete developers API towards the Nagios configuration. The default functionality can be used as a template for your own design/functionality.

News

December 16, 2009:

Today I spoke with Robert Keersse and he updated the docs to Fedora 12. I will also provide a mirror for his docs, but keep his site as main reference.

Also Kris Buytaert wrote his first djagios patch! Kris wrote an initial RPM spec file for djagios, and as I’m a complete RPM spec idiot it is much appreciated! Thanks a lot Kris!

Katala released! Katala has as version number 0.1.3. I chose to change the codename as this release is more than a simple bugfix.

To find out what this release is about please read on the Releases page!

Important is also that the Company that was the main sponsor for the 0.1.x releases finally got disclosed. Please read more on the About Djagios page.

October 7, 2009:

Request for configurations! To improve the import functions I would love to get my hands on the configurations of different setups. At this time I have no working setup with dependencies or escalations, to be able to fully implement them I need working examples. So please send your config to ‘info at this domain’. I need the nagios.cfg and the object files in a tar file. The configs are never going to be published, If you wish (state in mail) I will add your name/company to the thank you list!

Thank you for helping out!

Demo

For a demo please go to http://demo.djagios.org. The corresponding Nagios can be found here: http://demo.djagios.org/nagios (who would have thought?)

The changes are persisted to the nagios every 5 minutes. I (sejo) would appreciate it if you do not abuse the system. Use demo/demo as credentials!

Download

All releases can be found on here: http://downloads.djagios.org. Below you will find a link to the installation documentation.
